THE CASINO CARAVAN 2009 - ATLANTA,GA | BILOXI,MS | BATON ROUGE,LA |

What is the Casino Caravan? The Casino Caravan is a celebration of the fact that a college football game should not just be about a few hours in a stadium or in front of a television; but rather, the festivities should consume an entire weekend... More specifically, we are taking a luxury motor coach (with comfy seats and onboard bathrooms) from Atlanta, GA, to Biloxi, MS. We staying two fun filled nights on casino row with access to all of the gaming, restaurants, bars, and clubs found within Biloxi's marvelous casino resort venues such the Imperial Palace, the Beau Rivage, and the Hard Rock. On Saturday, we are taking a day trip over to Baton Rogue for the Auburn/LSU football game. For those of you that have tickets, it will be a short walk to Tiger Stadium from our bus. For those of you that do not have tickets, we'll hang out at a local watering hole on the edge of campus and watch from there (tailgate food will be provided). After the game, it will be one more night of debauchery back at the casinos... and then back to Atlanta, GA, on Sunday morning after breakfast. We leave around 1:00pm on Friday, October 23rd and return the evening of Sunday, October 25th. The cost of the trip is $295 per person. We will depart from the Perimeter Mall area where there is free parking. |

Who is organizing this event?
This event is being organized by Auburn graduate and Atlanta resident, Chip Plesnarski. In the past, Chip has served on the Atlanta Auburn Club's Board and was also a co-founder of the Young ALUMS group as well as the original "Casino Caravan" of 2004. He also served as a contributor towards the Atlanta Auburn Club's efforts to get Auburn license plates in Georgia. Chip's 2004 Casino Caravan took everyone to Tunica, MS (for the casinos) and then Oxford, MS (for some football) and this trip was a resounding success. The next year, he planned to have another one (this time to Biloxi/Baton Rouge); but after making all the preparations, Hurricane Katrina canceled the plans. Although there was a sense of "unfinished business", Chip got busy with life and the concept of the Casino Caravan laid dormant... until now...
